About Katie

I've spent most of my life exploring what it means to be here as a human on this planet at this time. Along the way, I've studied many things, evolved my understanding, and followed countless threads of curiosity. But through it all, one truth has remained constant:
There is no wrong way to have a body. There is no wrong way to be.
That understanding has shaped not only my work, but the way I move through the world. It informs how I approach astrology, aromatherapy, movement, ritual, relationships, and the simple act of paying attention. Rather than asking how we can become better versions of ourselves, I'm interested in how we become more fully ourselves.
As a child, I found myself looking up. I watched Leo rise in the night sky understanding its rhythm. I stood on the shores of Lake Michigan before dawn waiting for Halley's Comet, feeling an inexplicable sense of belonging within something far larger than myself. My fascination with astronomy naturally expanded into mythology and astrology, not because I was searching for certainty, but because I wanted language for the mystery of being human.
Tuning into the messages of the body in a world that tells us not to listen.
Belly dance first taught me what it felt like to inhabit my body with joy rather than judgment. That thread eventually led me to yoga, free-form movement, 5 Rhythms, and Open Floor, each offering another way of listening to the wisdom that exists outside of linear thinking. Later, intuitive eating and Health at Every Size helped dismantle the cultural conditioning that tells us our bodies are projects to be fixed. Embodiment, for me, is not about achieving an ideal. It is about learning to trust our senses, honor our desires, and fully participate in our lives.
Plants became another language.
My work as a medicinal aromatherapist taught me that healing is not something imposed from the outside. Like astrology, essential oils invite relationship, awareness, and participation. Both ask us to become curious rather than judgmental. Both remind us that transformation is rarely about becoming someone else. It is about becoming more deeply ourselves.
Studying Evolutionary Astrology with my friend and mentor, the late Tom Jacobs gave me a framework that brought many of these threads together. Rather than providing answers, it gave language to questions I had been asking for most of my life. Since then, my work has continued to evolve through thousands of client sessions, years of teaching, ritual, and community, weaving together the wisdom of the Earth, the Cosmos, and lived experience.
Today, everything I offer grows from that same lifelong exploration.
Whether we're looking at a birth chart, choosing an essential oil, creating a ritual, or simply making space to notice what is true, my intention is never to tell you who you should become. It is to help you recognize who you already are beneath the conditioning, expectations, and stories that have taught you otherwise.
I don't believe there is one right way to live, one right way to love, one right way to heal, or one right way to belong.
I believe individuality is sacred.
I believe our greatest challenges often become the source of our deepest wisdom.
I believe that becoming who we came here to be is one of the most meaningful journeys we can take, and brings be great joy to support and witness.
