Go beyond memorizing what essential oils are “for.” Learn the foundations of medicinal aromatherapy while developing your own relationship with the plants—their physical properties, energetic qualities, and the ways they interact with body, mind, and spirit.

Because this is a private course, our work can be tailored to your interests, whether you are exploring aromatherapy for personal development, integrating it into your professional work, or pursuing certification.

• Wisdom of the Earth principles and medicinal aromatherapy
• Plant parts and their relationship to the human body
• Essential oil production, quality, and extraction
• Foundational essential oils and systems of the body
• Physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual applications
• Safe and effective application techniques
• Sacred anointing, meditation, and ritual
• Developing intuition, discernment, and relationship with the plants

Your Course Includes:

3 textbooks

Online students will receive a starter collection of 45 essential oils (retail value $600+), giving you the opportunity to experience the plants directly as you learn. In-person students will have access to approx 200 oils and may purchase the kit as well.

20% discount on all services and oils while participating in course. 

24 CEUs available for massage therapists - certification not required

Certification is available for those who want it, but it is not required. This course can be taken simply for your own knowledge, practice, and deeper relationship with the plants.

Certification Requirements & Administration Fee:

 *5 page paper and $50 Processing Fee submitted to your teacher within 3 months of last day of class required to receive certification

Certification Benefits: 22% off Wisdom of the Earth essential oils & hydrolats for life. Ability to audit the course with Katie Shell and other teachers. Continued mentoring and support from Katie. 22% off additional services offered by Katie Shell. 

Deposit and Cancelation Policy: a $500 is required to receive materials and begin the course if you are doing it online. $200 deposit required for in-person. If you choose not to complete the course you will be charged $100 an hour for tutoring for time spent, up to the full course cost. 

***If a late cancellation is due to an unavoidable emergency, the full amount can be transferred to a future class date
