Medicinal aromatherapy is about so much more than knowing which oil to reach for.
The plants give us ways to work with the physical body, our emotions, energy and spirit. They can support us through change, help us recognize patterns, deepen our awareness and intuition, and give us practical tools for creating movement in our lives. They invite us to trust ourselves, listen to the many ways our bodies communicate with us, and make room for all the parts of ourselves—not just the ones we have been taught are acceptable.
Sacred Botanicals brings all of those pieces together.
Transformation, empowerment and self-awareness are as much a part of this work as learning the oils.
Sacred Botanicals is centered in the Wisdom of the Earth curriculum, but your experience of it is entirely your own.
I have fallen in love with teaching Sacred Botanicals this way! It gives us an incredible opportunity to connect and explore whatever excites or inspires you. Digging deep into what this gorgeous planet has to offer, learning to breathe in life and allow space for all parts of us - love, grief, joy, pain, rage, vulernablity and all the rawness of being human.
Integration is a big part of how I work. Aromatherapy naturally overlaps with the other ways we explore ourselves, our lives and our paths. My background in Evolutionary Astrology, energy work and embodied movement gives us more layers to explore those connections while we work with the oils.
Embodiment, meditation, sacred anointing and ritual are woven throughout Sacred Botanicals.
Online, In Person or Hybrid
Online: The $1,350 individual option includes 45 essential oils (retail value $600+). If you already have oils or prefer larger bottles, we can discuss other options.
In Person: You’ll have access to my tester bar, so an oil collection isn’t required. The 45-oil collection is available at a discounted student rate.
Hybrid: Combine online and in-person sessions. We’ll determine what oils you need at home.
Trial / Pay as You Go: Start with a $100 session, which can be applied to the full course, or continue at $100/hour.
Individual and two-person options are available.

Certification Requirements & Administration Fee:
*5 page paper and $50 Processing Fee submitted to your teacher within 3 months of last day of class required to receive certification
Certification Benefits: 22% off Wisdom of the Earth essential oils & hydrolats for life. Ability to audit the course with Katie Shell and other teachers. Continued mentoring and support from Katie. 22% off additional services offered by Katie Shell.
Deposit and Cancelation Policy: a $500 is required to receive materials and begin the course if you are doing it online. $200 deposit required for in-person. If you choose not to complete the course you will be charged $100 an hour for tutoring for time spent, up to the full course cost.
***If a late cancellation is due to an unavoidable emergency, the full amount can be transferred to a future class date
